I have been eagerly preparing for this glorious fall weather (besides the excessive rain and flooding affecting central Texas) and for our upcoming European vacation for several months now. As I've mentioned before in this post, whenever I'm shopping for a new season, I try to make a list of all of the items on my wish-list and budget accordingly. Here are a few of the fall staples I've purchased thus far.
This has been our second year to visit the pumpkin patch in the fall since we've lived in Austin. I'm not sure exactly how many times it takes for something to become a tradition, but I like to think this is one of our new fall traditions and will be for years to come. Maybe because it's similar to picking out the perfect Christmas tree each year, picking out pumpkins to decorate with around our home really gets me in the fall spirit and ready for the new season.
Jumpsuits have been making a comeback the past few seasons, and while I loved the look of them on other people (especially the long and lean), I wasn't sure how one would look on me. I'm not one to typically dive right in to the latest trends, so I thought I would dip my toes in to the jumpsuit trend with a simple little black jumpsuit.
