A few weekends ago, I had the opportunity to accompany my sweet husband to a trade association conference just outside of Austin at the beautiful Hyatt Lost Pines Resort in Bastrop. We had been to the resort once before, and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves among the fresh air, green pine trees, and the cool lazy river, so we were looking forward to this weekend once again. Some may call it work, but we chose to see it as a little weekend getaway.
It's official. The summer weather has arrived in Austin and while I'm typically not a big dress girl besides for church on Sundays and special occasions, I can't help but be drawn to easy, breezy dresses when the temperatures are approaching triple digits. I guess that's why they call them sundresses!
With the spring season blooming and summer beckoning, I find myself wanting to be outside more and more. *Cue the "I'm outdoorsy as in I like drinking on patios" meme.* In all seriousness, these beautiful spring days are just begging to be spent outside enjoying the fresh air, blue skies, and sunshine. Unfortunately, the majority of my days are spent indoors working in front of a computer at the office.
