Spring time doesn't last long here in Texas (shocking, I know), so when it is here, I prefer to spend as much of my time outside enjoying this season and the fresh spring air as possible. One of my favorite ways to enjoy a spring day is with a patio and a cocktail. Thankfully, Austin reciprocates my feelings for this time of year and has so many great places to choose from when it comes to dining al fresco.
Some of my favorite spots in the city are Elizabeth Street Cafe, Trudy's, Bar Chi, and Eberly. I love ESC for its colorful, Instagrammable ambiance, its delicious Vietnamese cold brew iced coffee, and its homemade pastries. Ryan and I both love Trudy's for their weekend buffet brunch and ruby red margaritas. I know what you might be thinking about buffets, and I typically stay far away from buffets, but their food is replaced so often so it stays fresh, and you get to try a little bit of everything! One of our go-tos in Austin is Bar Chi for their sushi happy hour and lychee martinis. It's such a refreshing meal on a sunny day while you people watch from their street side patio. A new favorite of mine is Eberly on South Lamar for dining in their stunning atrium, tasty small bites, and original cocktails.
This little outfit is the perfect casual, chic outfit for a spring day in Austin. I could easily see myself wearing this to any of the aforementioned places on a sunny Saturday. The key piece to this outfit is this vintage watermelon neck scarf that was also given to me by Ryan's grandmother. She was such a sweet and classy lady! This scarf is so perfect for spring with its bright colors, fruity theme, and the fact that it's so lightweight. I styled my outfit around this scarf with this striped Anthropologie tank, my favorite pair of petite white denim from Banana Republic, and my new favorite shoes, these loafer mules from Asos! I am a big fan of this shoe trend this spring as the loafer mule can dress up any casual outfit, and take you from a day at the office straight to happy hour.
This outfit is so cute and comfy, and even makes me feel a little bit Parisian, especially while envisioning myself at a cafe with a glass of wine in hand.
I hope y'all enjoyed this post, and are enjoying this spring season to the fullest!
