I am SO excited because after months--scratch that--years of waiting for the opportunity, I am finally checking off one of my favorite bands from my musical bucket list this weekend, Mumford and Sons!
As I mentioned in my first post of the year, one of my goals is to see more live music and attend more concerts as it is something that I truly enjoy, plus, it's something my sweet husband and I can do together. The concert is actually a belated birthday celebration for Ryan, but is kind of like a present for me, too. With the concert countdown officially underway, I've been trying to plan my outfits for the road trip and decide what to wear, and I think I finally found an outfit contender!
I was so happy to find this Southward Apparel sweatshirt back in January when the brand came to Le Garage Sale. Le Garage Sale is a two day event here in Austin that happens semi-annually and brings some of my favorite local designers and boutiques under one roof with pieces at clearance prices! When I saw this sweatshirt on the rack, felt how soft it was, and imagined how chic it could be, I snatched it right up. It is definitely one of my favorite lounge wear pieces and brands! I think it is so fun that I get to represent my love for my city and my love for music all in one cute and cozy little piece.
As you can see, I styled it with my favorite pair of Banana Republic black skinnies, and my lace up flats. I've also considered switching the skinnies for a pair of faux leather leggings to amp up the rock and roll vibe, or with boyfriend shorts and my white sneakers for Houston's humid weather. I love that I feel cool, comfortable, and confident in this outfit, and that is a feeling I strive for with all my fashion choices.
I hope it inspires you to do the same!
I can't wait to share my photos and videos from the concert and a recap of our adventures this weekend with y'all!
Happy almost Friday!
Little bitty love,
